Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1990-present

Donated cars are typically auctioned at local events or sold for parts, maximizing their value to support our funding efforts. Every donation directly contributes to providing essential services to our community.

In South Dakota, sedans are a popular choice for families commuting to work or school, making their donations even more impactful for neighbors in need.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks are often recycled for parts when older or sold at auction when they’re in good condition. Their versatility makes them highly sought after.

Many South Dakotans rely on pickup trucks for farming, ranching, and outdoor activities, highlighting their importance in our local economy.

SUVs & Crossovers
2000-present

SUVs are frequently sold at auction due to their popularity, or they can be dismantled for valuable parts, supporting our community initiatives.

With South Dakota's wide-open spaces, families often choose SUVs for road trips and adventures, making them a practical donation option.

Motorcycles
1980-present

Motorcycles are typically sold or auctioned, attracting enthusiasts looking for their next ride or parts for restoration projects.

With beautiful routes across the state, motorcycling is a cherished pastime for many South Dakotans, and your donation can help amplify our outreach.

RVs & Campers
1990-present

RVs and campers are usually auctioned, with proceeds helping fund essential community programs, catering to those seeking adventure in the great outdoors.

South Dakota's stunning landscapes make RVs a favorite among families for summer trips, and donations help keep our programs thriving.

Boats
1995-present

Boats are typically auctioned off; their resale value can significantly bolster our funding for local services and program connections.

Though not as common, boat donations help support those in our communities who enjoy the rivers and lakes across beautiful South Dakota.

Commercial Vehicles
1990-present

Commercial vehicles are primarily sold at auction or for parts, aiding local businesses while contributing to our funding efforts.

From delivery vans to service trucks, these vehicles play a crucial role in supporting South Dakota's economy and can really help our mission.

Non-running Vehicles
1980-present

Even vehicles that aren't running can be recycled for parts or sold as salvage, allowing us to benefit from their donation.

In rural South Dakota, non-running vehicles may still have value to those looking for parts, making them worthy contributions to our cause.

Condition guide

When considering a vehicle donation, it’s essential to understand the condition of your vehicle. Running vehicles are the most straightforward to donate, as they can be easily sold at auction or repurposed for parts. Non-running vehicles also qualify, and while they may not fetch the same price, they can still provide valuable resources through recycling or parts sales. Salvaging parts ensures that even a vehicle that's seen better days can still contribute to our mission.

However, vehicles with damaged titles or specific restrictions may require additional steps. We evaluate salvage titles, rebuilt vehicles, and any liens on a case-by-case basis. Don’t worry if your title is missing or if there are other complications; we’re here to assist you in navigating the donation process to ensure your vehicle can still make a positive impact.
